1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [company name] (“we”) for using TheirCorner. You accept them when you tick “I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy” in the app. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use TheirCorner

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You live and work in the United States.
• You manage people at work, and your employer’s policies allow you to keep notes about your team in an outside app. You confirm this when you sign up. If you are not sure, ask your employer first. If that changes, stop using TheirCorner and delete your account.
• The account is for you alone. You sign in with links and codes sent to your email, so keep your email account secure.
• During private testing, only invited email addresses can sign up.

3. What TheirCorner is

TheirCorner is a private notebook for managers. You dictate or type notes about your team. The app sorts them, you set ratings, and AI can write drafts for 1:1s, corrective plans and reviews.

It is a note-taking and drafting tool. It is not legal, HR or employment advice, and it does not make decisions about anyone.

TheirCorner is in testing. Features can change, break or stop. We provide it “as is” and “as available”. [Warranty disclaimer: final wording to be provided by counsel.]

4. Your content

• You own what you write. You let us store and process it only to run TheirCorner for you, including through the service providers named in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for what you write and how you use it. Keep notes factual: what happened, when, and the impact. Describe behavior, not personality.
• Only save information you are allowed to keep under your employer’s policies and the law.

5. AI drafts

• AI drafts can be wrong, incomplete or unfair. Read, check and edit every draft before you use it.
• You set every rating. AI never does. You make every decision about your team.
• Do not use a draft as the only basis for any employment decision.

6. HR and legal matters

When a note looks serious, such as harassment, discrimination, safety, threats or a possible legal issue, the app shows “Contact HR now”. That is guidance to escalate. It is not legal advice, and the app can miss things. You stay responsible for taking matters to HR and for following your employer’s policies and the law.

The app never contacts HR, your boss or your team for you. Nothing in it replaces those steps or should delay them.

7. No health information

Do not save health or medical information about anyone. This includes conditions, treatment, medication, disability, pregnancy, mental health and medical leave. Health matters, such as an accommodation or medical leave, go to HR. The app tries to drop or refuse health details, but do not rely on it to catch everything.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or your employer’s policies;
• record conversations with other people (dictate only your own notes);
• use TheirCorner to harass, discriminate against or retaliate against anyone;
• save health information, government ID numbers, passwords or financial account numbers about anyone;
• try to get into another account, test or break our security, overload the service, or copy it by automated means;
• try to make the AI ignore its safeguards, or use it for anything other than managing and supporting your team;
• sell, share or lend your access.

9. Your account and deletion

• You can download your data and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion removes your account and everything in it, as our Privacy Policy describes. It cannot be undone.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. [Notice and appeal wording: to be confirmed by counsel.]
• We may end the testing program. [Notice period and time to download your data: to be confirmed.]

10. Fees

TheirCorner is free during testing. If we add paid plans, we will tell you first, and you choose whether to pay.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. If the change matters, the app will ask you to accept again before you continue.
